After lots of Googling, I need assistance on increasing the brightness on my LCD panel when connected via HDMI.

Hello,
I'm not sure I understand your question but Panel brightness cannot be controlled through HDMI hardware. This is possible on LVDS though since there is a dedicated pin on the connector.
