Hi all,

I need to develop my own Android image for the IFC6501 board. But i can't find any kind of guide o similar document, in whic you explain, how to do that.

I need information of how to rebuild and customize the Kernel, the tools i need to download to build the different images, etc. A document with this information would be very helpful.

Thank you.

Hello,
The way we build our software is:
- Get an Open Source baseline from Code Aurora Forum (mix of GPLv2 (Kernel) and Apache 2.0 (AOSP))
- Download Proprietary Code from Chip Code - (Qualcomm’s site for Licencees like Inforce)
- Add Inforce patches that enable all peripherals associated with our platform and build the entire codebase. All our patches are published as Open source.

Our release packagess include sources for everything except the proprietary code from chip code for which we provide binaries. So you could replicate the same. Do check out the document titled 'Android_Programming_Guide_002201_Rev_B' that has details on the required tools etc.

Cheers,
Sundeep

Ok thank you for your help.

Another question,

When will you have a Linux Release for this board?

Cheers
